We’re getting married and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! The opportunity to have everyone we love in one place means the world to us. As our big day approaches, we'd like to keep you informed of the event details. Be sure to check back for updates and get ready to head to Madison, Wisconsin for a hopefully warm and beautiful weekend!
Michael Stormberg. The groom comes from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He is the oldest of six kids (yes his parents are crazy). After graduating from Creighton, Michael moved to Madison. His aunt and uncle graciously let him live with them while he worked at a PR company. After a year, Michael was hired at Promega Corporation. It's there where he would eventually meet Jenna.
Some of his favorite things include: spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports (golf, football, basketball, volleyball), watching movies (and quoting them which Jenna loves), playing cards (poker, pincochle, cribbage), comedy, fantasy football, Dad jokes, art and having a puppy! *hintedy hint hint*
Jenna Gravitter. The bride comes from a small town in northern Wisconsin. She has three older siblings (triplets) only one year older than she...yes, her mom is an incredible lady. After attending college in Green Bay, she moved to Madison to start her career. She eventually landed a part time job at Promega Corporation where she would meet Michael.
Some of her favorite things include: dark chocolate, the Foo Fighters, volleyball, yoga, people wearing horse costumes, urban design (any good design, really), kitty-cats, planning and organizing, sweetened iced tea and a good book in the summertime, and especially when Michael cooks dinner. *hintedy hint hint*
It can get hot in June, especially during an outdoor wedding ceremony, so dress comfortably. We do ask you to avoid wearing jeans and shorts (or jean-shorts). Think more cocktail attire. The wedding will take place on the lawn of Quivey's Grove in front of the stone house.
A little info about Quivey's Grove: The buildings at Quivey's were built in 1855. The restaurant opened in 1980. Thirty-five years later, the setting still takes you back in time with antiques from the period, gardens to wander and buildings from the 19th century to admire and explore.
